I was lucky enough to be connected with Kelly through a mutual friend but when this happened I had no idea of the elite experience I was in for. Kelly comes prepared with all the best tools (a suitcase filled with top-quality make-up and face lotions, gold collagen eye-masks, a make-up light, a comfortable make-up chair). Moreover, Kelly is extraordinarily thorough, precise and thoughtful. Even before she begins applying make-up, Kelly invests time and care in getting to know the people in her chair and the look they are envisioning, taking into account and easing any concerns and specific requests they have. Kelly, taught me about make-up, explained her products, and involved me in the creation of my wedding day look (getting my opinion throughout). Kelly being the talented and efficient make-up artist that she is, did my bridal make-up, then spontaneously did the make-up for two girlfriends. She did all this while getting herself ready to celebrate with us and being at my side to touch up my make-up when I inevitably teared up. On top of being simply exceptional at make-up and thinking of it all (e.g., she made me a little touch up kit to use throughout the night) Kelly is so easy to talk with, felt like we knew each other for years.
